Many Americans don't know that Russia is the truest reason Nazi's didn't take over Europe. America's role was much smaller than we have been lead to believe. UnGreat Britain was generally concerned with self-defense and recovery of its colonies. Russia was abandoned by the allies in all its hours of needs. And, as the war concluded, the west (mainly U.S.) rushed in as the victors.
The U.S. paid the least in terms of true loss. 1/3 of Russia was destroyed and 11 million Russian soldiers died fighting Germany. On top of that, somewhere between 7-20 million Russian civilians lost their lives. The U.S. lost 407,316 soldiers and virtually no civilians, yet we regard ourselves as the heroes. Russia has never been honored in the West for being the true victor of WWII.
In the midst of this current political circus let us not demonize the people of Russia. The Banksters and their War Matching are our mutual enemies and truly the enemies of Whomanity.
Much of our pride is not founded on reality. Our nationalism is just a bunch of filthy rags. What beauty they may have had was tarnished long ago.
Let us humble ourselves gracefully that we don't fall in devastation
